Most recently, Helen has been playing the lead role of Lee Krasner in the world premiere of the 3-hander play LEE at Park Theatre London.

As a voice actor, Helen has appeared in over 200 audio dramas, playing a vast range of characters. For ten years she played the lead role of Elena in THE TOMORROW PEOPLE audio series; the iconic Village Voice in two series of THE PRISONER and Ruth in three series of SURVIVORS.  Other audio work includes Christine Daae in THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA; Professor Crane opposite Sir John Hurt in THE WAR DOCTOR; Agatha in the award-winning THE MARTIAN INVASION OF EARTH, starring Richard Armitage and diva Alice Aiken opposite David Tennant and Catherine Tate in THE CREEPING DEATH.  She provided numerous voices for the video games WATCH DOG LEGION, DRAGON’S DOGMA and DYING LIGHT 2 and in 2018, won the ONE VOICE AWARD for Best Female Radio Drama Performance.

Her prolific theatre work includes the 2024 Olivier Award-winning production of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF at Regents Park Open Air Theatre.  Also lead roles in SUMMER IN THE CITY (Upstairs at the Gatehouse – nominated for a ‘Standing Ovation Award’);  ABIGAIL’S PARTY (York Theatre Royal); MACBETH (Arts Theatre, West End); the musical PERSONALS (by the writers of TV’s FRIENDS, at The Apollo, West End); HIGH SOCIETY (Aberystwyth Arts);  BIG BAD BOOK (Soho Theatre Company); JUST SO and OUT OF THIS WORLD (Chichester Festival Theatre); THE TAMING OF THE SHREW, A CONNECTICUT YANKEE and ROMEO AND JULIET (directed by Judi Dench, Regents Park Open Air Theatre); UK tour of MY FAIR LADY (directed by Simon Callow); MY FAIR LADY (Sheffield Crucible); UK tour of UNCLE VANYA (directed by Kenneth Branagh and Peter Egan).

TV work includes THE FAMOUS FIVE, DOCTORS, WAKING THE DEAD, FINAL DEMAND and THE SECOND QUEST (directed by David Jason).

She has performed in numerous concerts and cabarets, including regular lead vocals with THE PICCADILLY DANCE ORCHESTRA (a 1930s big band) at the Savoy hotel and with NEW LONDON ENTERTAINMENT in concert around the UK and touring internationally.  In 2007 she was one of the final women in BBC Radio 2’s International VOICE OF MUSICAL THEATRE competition. She performs regularly in her one-woman musical comedy, A FUNNY STAGE.
